Joanna Jackson, an award-winning Registered Interior designer in the State of Texas, is nationally recognized as a LEED AP and NCIDQ certificate holder. With a decade of extensive experience in luxury multi-family, student living, hospitality and high-end residential design, Joanna handles the role of Project Manger and Senior Designer at an expert level. She has been instrumental in the completion of 170+ Interior Projects of varying scopes & budgets in her 10-year career. Her strength is innovating and collaborating with the architectural, consultant and development teams from concept to completion on on new construction Interior projects. Her Interiors expertise is enhanced and made uniquely hers with a varied background of graphic design, branding, website design & development, sprinkled with 10 years of hospitality guest-satisfaction and sales know-how.
As a Project Manager, Joanna’s main focus is serving the client by developing professional relationships based on respect, trust, and confidence. She is highly praised for her collaborative demeanor with Architects, consultant teams, contractors and clients. She manages this all while maintaining client goals, a motivated junior staff and exciting designs fitting to trends and style.
As a senior level designer, she is highly analytical and technical while also passionately creative. She is experienced in interior detailing, code review & compliance, redlining, building system coordination as well as the selection and specification of finishes, lighting and furniture elements. In design, Joanna enjoys implementing exciting pairings to create dimension and drama. Unexpected elements, layers of texture, fearless use of color and pattern are the things that make her projects stand out.
Joanna Jackson has a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design and a Minor in Marketing from the University of North Texas. She has recently won a 1st place Legacy of Design award for her work in 2017 and again in 2018. In her free time, you can find Joanna reading, cooking (and eating!), enjoying the DMA, Dallas Symphony, Dallas Opera, volunteering, and spending time with her friends & family.
